*REPORT ON THE 1447AH* *RAMADAN* *I‘TIKAF PROGRAM*
*MASJID AL-HAQQ*

Masjid Al-Haqq successfully hosted its annual I‘tikaf program during the last ten days of Ramadan 1447AH, drawing over 250 devoted participants who gathered in pursuit of spiritual elevation and closeness to Almighty Allah.

I‘tikaf, a highly recommended Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), is a sacred practice observed in the final ten days of Ramadan. During this period, the Prophet (SAW) would withdraw to the (mosque), dedicating himself entirely to worship, reflection, and the earnest search for Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Majesty), a night described in the Qur’an as better than a thousand months. In continuation of this noble tradition, Masjid Al-Haqq provided a serene and structured environment for participants to engage in prayers, Qur’an recitation, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), and personal supplication.

This year’s I‘tikaf program was remarkable not only for its large turnout but also for its inclusivity and generosity. Participation was completely free, with the mosque providing daily Suhoor (Sahur) and Iftar meals for all attendees. This thoughtful gesture ensured that participants could focus entirely on their spiritual obligations without concern for their daily needs. The initiative was made possible through the dedicated leadership and coordination of Sheikh Dr. Ayolo, Sheikh Abdul-Lateef, and other committed organizers whose efforts contributed immensely to the program’s success.

A particularly inspiring moment during the program was the testimony of one of the participants, who shared his experience from the previous year’s I‘tikaf. He recounted how the spiritual retreat had a profound impact on his life, strengthening his faith and bringing about positive personal transformation. With deep emotion, he expressed hope that this year’s participation would also yield even greater blessings, and he prayed for life and the opportunity to return next year with another testimony of Allah’s mercy and favor.

The Masjid Al-Haqq I‘tikaf program continues to stand as a beacon of spiritual renewal and communal unity. It serves as a reminder to the Muslim Ummah of the importance of dedicating time solely for Allah, especially in an age filled with distractions. I‘tikaf teaches discipline, humility, patience, and total reliance on Allah, values that extend far beyond the month of Ramadan.

As we conclude this year’s Ramadan, we encourage Muslims everywhere to hold firmly to the lessons learned during this blessed month. Let us remain steadfast in our prayers, consistent in our good deeds, and sincere in our submission to Almighty Allah. Ramadan is not just a season, but a training ground for a lifetime of righteousness.

We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, and acts of charity. May He grant us the opportunity to witness many more Ramadans in good health and strong faith. May He make us among those who attain Laylatul Qadr and receive His mercy, forgiveness, and salvation from the Hellfire. Ameen.
